Fun fact (your favourite animal or landscape, someone you look up to, a favourite movie or food, quote or something else entirely): I am obsessed with sausage dogs! (aka dachshund).

Steph is Brazilian born and she’s been living in Europe for the past 11 years in places such as Berlin, Madrid, Bucharest and Rome, due to educational, professional and activist reasons. She holds a bilingual (English and Spanish) bachelor’s degree in International Studies, obtained between the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, the Sophia University (Tokyo) and the National University of Singapore. Together with her personal background, it has led her to develop a special interest for migration flows and trends and its connections to human rights, gender, and the environment.  She is a recent master’s degree graduate in International Cooperation and Development by the Sapienza University of Rome. Having lived, studied, and worked in 8 countries across 3 continents, and having previous professional experience in international organizations (UNDP, Brazil; UNICEF, New York and IFAD, Rome), at NGOs (Future Nepal, Chitwan and Catalyst2030, Amsterdam), and at think tanks (Centre for Youth and International Studies and European Student Think Tank), she brings and can leverage a valuable multicultural, and interdisciplinary perspective and lived migration experience. Over the years, she has been actively engaged in youth environmental and migration policy making processes, both in Europe and beyond, having a particular interest in climate related (im)mobility, focusing on the challenges and opportunity related to children and youth.
