Caroline Merner is a youth advocate, climate communicator and environmental educator. For the past decade, she has engaged young people to protect nature and the planet through her work at Environment and Climate Change Canada, Parks Canada, Ocean Wise, Youth4Nature, and Climate Guides. As an experienced facilitator and international delegate, Caroline’s work has taken her to the Canadian Arctic, Greenland, Chile, Peru, Poland, Spain, and the US. Caroline is a trilingual English, French and Spanish speaker. As a graduate in Sustainability and International Development from Dalhousie University, Caroline’s thesis focused on effective communication for public engagement on climate change.
