Rachel is a settler currently living, working, and playing in Tkaronto (Toronto), the traditional unceded territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. Rachel is a collaborator, a connector, and a community builder, and she is currently the Finance Director at Youth4Nature.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Industries from Toronto Metropolitian University (formally known as Ryerson University). After almost a decade of work with community organizations, international ENGOs, universities, and government, she brings extensive experience in meaningful youth engagement and a robust background in by youth for youth capacity building. Rachel is thrilled to engage with the growing Y4N ecosystem to create sustainable internal operations that allow the organisation, its members, and its community to thrive.
When not behind her computer screens and in the depths of spreadsheets, Rachel can be found tending her balcony garden, on her bicycle, or slacklining in the park with friends.
