Fun fact: Stuart’s first experience of snow was standing in Central Park in NYC...his life could be a movie!
Stuart, an Australian who swapped the flat, hot lands of his home for the beautiful mountains of traditional Treaty 7 territory (currently known as Banff, Alberta), is a storyteller at heart.
As a storyteller & artist, he explores moments and experiences, extracting the story which will resonate with an audience, and leave a lasting impression. He aims to get intimate with people, with nature, and with himself; ensuring his art is an expression of the world around him. He’s lived life as a country kid on a farm, as a city-goer and professional accountant, as a backpacker across South America, and now as a mountain-lover in the Canadian Rockies. Throughout it all, science, nature and storytelling have been with him, every step of the way. With a diverse array of experiences across industries & locations, as well as an unquenchable desire for lifelong learning, Stuart is excited to both share his knowledge with the Youth4Nature community, as well as explore the intricacies of the climate & ecological crisis.
When Stuart isn’t working to build youth communities in STEM & now the environmental movement, you’ll find him with a camera in his hand, getting to the top of mountains in Summer, and sliding down them in Winter.
